Meet Ebony

Program Director

Ebony D. Adams, CEO and Founder of Pearls of The World LLC, is a Mastered Level Social Worker from Cleveland State University, with an Undergraduate degree in Sociology from Alabama State University. Ebony is a wife and mother of 7 children. Her passion for people and helping them is one of the reasons she created Pearls of The World LLC. Her biggest reason why is to honor her late great grandmother and mentor, Pearl Ventress Wade. Ebony’s focus during grad school was to impact the lives of young girls using her education in Social Work. Ebony interned with the Shaker Heights youth center and the Shaker Middle School. While there, Ebony created a thriving program for girls called: Girls R.O.C.K.

Goal #1

Program will be available 6 weeks of every quarter in the school year (Fall, Winter, Spring, & Summer) Sessions may be setup during school hours as an elective or as an after-school program.

Goal #2

Enroll a maximum of 15 girls for each 6-week program (designated by age group)

Goal #3

The program will take place once a week for 90 min via a school in the contracted school district during the Fall, Winter, & Spring quarters. The program will be administered twice a week, half a day via local POTW location for summer quarter - ELEMENTARY ONLY
